Melissa is a sophomore at Central Islip High School and a proud, passionate journalist for the school newspaper. When she’s not writing, you can find her on the volleyball court, where she plays with so much enthusiasm, whether she’s playing or cheering on her teammates. Outside of sports, Melissa loves indulging in her favorite food- pupusas, especially when they’re packed perfectly. Always on the lookout for new stories to tell, she’s excited to bring fresh perspectives to the school newspaper.
