LeAnna Johnson, Writer/Photographer
LeAnna is a freshman this year. She attends the Suffolk County Police Explorers program and has a passion for helping people that she wants to turn into a career. Her goal is to attend Sam Houston State University to study criminal psychology. She has always had an interest in photography and has enjoyed being able to combine that skill with writing for The Rapier.
Summer Harper, Writer
Summer is new to Central Islip this year. Prior to July 2018, she called Brooklyn home. She works hard in school with the goal of attending a good college that will prepare her well for a career practicing law. Her favorite aspect of being a writer for The Rapier is conducting interviews because she gets to meet new and interesting people.
