Senior pictures for September have just ended, but for those who haven’t taken them, don’t panic– the November dates are inching closer.
Central Islip High School allows students to take photos with the company Lifetouch which offers a few different packages to optimize their photoshoot experience and commemorates their senior year. Students can pick from three different packages and are allowed to pay online via card or pay in person via cash or check.
Students can schedule their pictures at prestigeportraits.com and use their school name and zip code to find their next school appointment.
The packages offered range from totally free to $30. The “Yearbook” only package is one pose and photo with no alternate outfits, this package is completely free and allows students to have their picture featured in the yearbook even if they choose not to purchase prints of the picture after.
The second package is their “Mini” which includes the prints and one alternate outfit. It is only a headshot, but allows the students to have different photo cards in addition to their yearbook picture. The package is reasonably priced at $15 and an affordable option for students who still want to commemorate their senior year.
The third package is the “Cap and Gown” package. This features two other outfits including a cap and gown photo, a casual outfit, different poses, and prints of all these pictures. This package goes for $30 and is a full scaled photo shoot complete with signs and the option for students to wear their choir robes, uniforms, or other outfits from activities they do. This is included in the outfit selection instead of a casual outfit.
No matter the package a student chooses, their picture day should be something to remember. Scheduling to take pictures is a tradition students enjoy as it marks the end of their high school careers with a picture to look back on. Make sure to say “cheese!” and schedule your appointment!
