Did you know that there is a golf course right here in Central Islip? Gull Haven Golf Club is a 9 hole course that can be played twice for a full 18 hole round. If you have ever had an interest in playing golf, you live in the best place to learn! Registration is now open for The Jones Golf Academy Spring Golf Program through the Town of Islip Recreation Department.
The Linksters program will teach you everything you need to know to get started and even provide you with the clubs to use! The program will focus on the fundamentals of the golf swing. All areas of the golf game will be taught including putting, chipping, iron and wood-play.
The cost is $120 for four 1 hour lessons. There is a session in April and another in May.
