On January 10, 2025 our Yearbook Club sponsored the annual whipped cream pie throwing contest that took place after school as a fundraiser to raise money for the Senior Class. Students were able to purchase tickets outside the cafeteria during lunch periods to throw pies at their favorite (or least favorite) staff members. Many staff members participated, such as: Mr. Haruthunian, Dr. Griffin, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Turk, Mrs. Schmalacker, Mr.Gullo, security guards, and many more. The most commonly heard phrase in the cafeteria that afternoon was, “Stand behind the line before you throw!” The enthusiasm was impossible to contain for many students!

Not only was this fundraiser very messy, very funny, and very exciting, but it also raised a lot of money! This will help bring costs down for the Seniors as they get closer to having to pay for things like Prom and yearbooks. Stay tuned for more opportunities to help out the Seniors!
