There are many reasons why people participate in community service. Some people just love the way it makes them feel when they give back to their community. Others are trying to build their resume for college applications, scholarships, or Honor Society. No matter what your reason is, the Central Islip Public Library has a variety of ways for you to earn hours.
Teen Book Review
Teens are able to submit up to five book reviews per month. Each review will receive one hour of community service. All writing must be your original work in order to receive credit. Please allow at least 3 days for review when submitting material. Book review form can be found here.

Please only use permanent marker when drawing. The library has permanent markers for in-house use if needed.
